A Kakobuy order has more than one journey. First the seller sends the item to the warehouse; later a submitted parcel travels to your destination. Between those journeys are inspection, packing and your own shipping decisions. Understanding the current stage is more useful than comparing an unexplained number of “shipping days” with someone else's order. This guide explains the evidence to check without promising a fixed arrival time.
Count the full process, not just international transit
Total elapsed time can include purchase processing, the seller's dispatch wait, domestic transport, warehouse check-in and QC, your time reviewing items, packing, international transport and destination delivery. If you are waiting for another item before consolidation, that delay belongs to your parcel plan rather than the carrier's transit time.
Kakobuy's published purchase tutorial describes the stages, but an indicative processing time is not a promise for every seller or shipping line. Stock, weekends, route availability and the contents of the parcel can change the sequence. For a date-sensitive order, compare the current route guidance and allow time for stages that a freight estimate may not include.
Match the number to the correct journey
Keep the seller order reference, domestic carrier number, Kakobuy parcel number and international tracking number as separate fields. They can refer to related records without being interchangeable. The official original-order-tracking announcement describes access to the seller-side order information; the purchase tutorial directs international tracking to the package area of the account.
Open the current order or parcel record and follow the tracking information attached to it. If a number is not recognized, check the carrier, the stage and whether the label was only recently generated. Do not assume that copying a purchase reference into a carrier website will show a shipment. Never post screenshots containing your full address or phone number when asking for public help.
Interpret common stages by their evidence
The descriptions below are general shipping stages, not an exact list of Kakobuy's interface labels. Wording can vary by language and carrier. Read the detailed event, location and timestamp instead of relying on a short translated status alone.
| Stage | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Seller dispatched | Domestic carrier and delivery destination: the warehouse. |
| Delivered to warehouse | Account check-in and QC record; a delivery scan alone may precede processing. |
| Ready in warehouse | Your QC decision, packing choices and parcel submission. |
| Label or shipment information created | A collection or acceptance scan confirming physical handover. |
| International transit | Latest scan, route guidance and any documented handoff. |
| Destination processing or delivery | Local carrier updates and any official action requested. |
What to do when tracking has not updated
First record the last scan, its date, location and exact wording. Check whether the parcel is awaiting seller dispatch, warehouse processing, carrier collection or a later transport event. These situations require different contacts. An inactive tracking page alone does not establish that a parcel is lost or that customs has detained it.
Compare the gap with the current service guidance for your route and any disruption notice. If it is outside the stated window, contact the account's parcel support with the parcel number, carrier number and last scan. Ask which party currently holds the parcel and what the next escalation point is. Avoid opening repeated cases that split the same evidence across conversations.
Check destination messages before taking action
A carrier may request delivery instructions or documentation during the destination stage. Verify the request through the carrier's official tracking page or your existing account route before paying an unexpected charge or sending personal information. A text message that mentions a parcel is not enough to establish that it relates to yours.
If tracking says delivered but you cannot locate the parcel, inspect the delivery details, authorized collection point and any proof of delivery. Contact the carrier and Kakobuy support with the same concise record. Keep packaging and photographs if there is damage. Follow the applicable claim window rather than assuming that a general warehouse return procedure covers international delivery problems.
Use a small tracking record to keep the case clear
Save the order reference, parcel reference, carrier, tracking number, latest scan, route guidance and the date of your last support reply. Add the next action and who should perform it. This record makes a follow-up specific: you can ask about a missing handover or a delivery exception instead of repeating that shipping is slow.
For future orders, compare routes using the same destination and parcel assumptions, then record actual milestones after delivery. One successful shipment is still only one observation. Use the weight calculator before quoting, the warehouse guide before consolidation and the refunds guide when the issue concerns an item or payment. Each page addresses a different stage of the same purchase.
